Among the top 15 market geographies, the return of China stands out, followed by Germany, Spain, Brazil and other countries, highlighting the global appeal of the event. In addition, the number of accredited journalists and media professionals increased, with 50.4 per cent coming from abroad, further consolidating the Show’s international visibility.

With 1125 events in the official guide, Fuorisalone 2024 confirmed its position as the largest annual event in the international design calendar. The enthusiasm and the influx of visitors from all over the world further strengthened Milan’s role as a nerve centre for meeting, updating and business for industry professionals, as well as for enthusiasts and students. The Design Week catalysed global attention, generating an estimated EUR 260.8 million in economic revenue, marking a 13.7% increase over the previous year (data to be confirmed in the coming days), with Fuorisalone.it registering a 20% increase over 2023.
The Fuorisalone brought new life to lesser-known places and stimulated the discovery of new corners of the city of Milan. From large garages overlooking the Darsena to atmospheric industrial spaces, from former railway yards to historic residences, the event transformed the city into a stage for innovation and creativity. The events explored the theme of the relationship with home in original and surprising ways, offering spectators unique and engaging experiences.
Fashion played a significant role during Fuorisalone 2024, highlighting the synergy between design, fashion and art. Numerous activities helped to promote cross-fertilisation between the various sectors, further consolidating the cosmopolitan profile of the event. The collaboration with miart and the consolidation of the partnership with Salone del Mobile.Milano have further enriched the programme, offering visitors a wide range of experiences and opportunities.
The numbers for the 2024 edition testify to unprecedented participation, with significant growth in online audience and media coverage on a global scale.
